Charming stay with a twist
Woke up to the warm sunlight streaming through the thick walls. The cozy room was a lovely retreat, perfect for exploring the vibrant old city. Truly delightful!
Unfortunately, the bathroom had a lingering smell due to old fixtures, and the limited staffing during peak hours left us waiting a bit longer than expected for assistance.

The location is prime, just steps from the old city, allowing easy access to shops and attractions. The room was a cozy haven with warm lighting, making for a relaxing atmosphere. Cleanliness is a top priority here, and the heritage building adds character. We especially enjoyed the miso soup, a delicious touch to the dining experience. However, the lack of variety in menu options may be a drawback for longer stays.

great stay with room for improvement
The owner and the staff were exceptionally welcoming, always ready to assist us with local tips. Our room was upgraded to a family room, which was a nice surprise and provided us with ample space. The hotel's design was beautifully minimalistic yet authentic, with comfortable beds and a private balcony overlooking the lake. The view from our room was simply stunning, making our mornings much more enjoyable.

The homemade jams at breakfast were a delightful surprise, and we stumbled upon some gems like Namaste Cafe, just steps away! Plus, the unique decor really made the place feel special, perfect for lounging after a day of exploring.
While the charm is undeniable, the room felt cramped, and the lack of A/C turned my lake view dreams into a sweaty night. A little storage would go a long way for luggage lovers.
